(P) Internationally Recognized Athletes, Artists, and Entertainers

For a P Visa, the applicant must be coming to the United States either individually or as a group for the purpose of:

performing at a specific athletic competition as an athlete or as a member of an entertainment group.

*Requires an internationally recognized level of sustained performance.

performing under a reciprocal exchange program between an organization in the United States and an organization in another country.

*Performing, developing, interpreting, representing, coaching, or teaching a unique or traditional ethnic, folk, cultural, musical, theatrical, or artistic performance or presentation. Includes persons providing essential services in support of the above individual.

(P) INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNIZED ALIEN REQUIRES:

*Receipt Number for your approved petition as it appears on your Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker, Form I-129, or Notice of Action, Form I-797, from USCIS.
